Learning Alot About Making Money Online

So lately I have been reading and learning a lot about how to make money online. When I first decided to take on this challenge of building an internet business to make a living I wanted to devote the first part of my reading and research to learn about the different ways to make money online.

Is affiliate marketing for me?

I started looking at a few affiliate sites and even signed up at Clickbank as an affiliate. I looked through the marketplace on the site and studied some of the products for categories that I might be interested in. There were plenty of terms that I just did not understand and needed to look up to make sense of the commission structure of some of the products.

If you understand that then you know you are an affiliate marketer :).

After looking at some of the products and the pitch pages I really didn't feel a connection with them and could not see myself selling these products. If there are people really making good money selling these electronic products I would be impressed. Hey, Clickbank claims to have paid out $1,411,783,076 (and counting) in client earnings at the time of this writing. Actually it increases by the second so technically that figure is already outdated.

It is possible that maybe the Clickbank site and the products they have listed to sell are just not a good match for me. Maybe I am missing something but I just don't see it happening for me. I will continue to learn about affiliate marketing and see if I come across something that really excites me. I will also continue to look into other forms of making money online and see if anything strikes up a match for me. I do have some ideas that have been starting to take shape in my mind as I am reading about making money online and I will definitely explore the possibilities for those ideas and write about what I do with them. Some of the ideas are actually really starting to get me excited about claiming my fortune online.I am already starting to look at the internet as a different place and actually a place with more opportunity than I ever imagined.
